I love your site. There are so many wonderful ideas I would need to teach another 10 years to use them all and this is my last year!! kindergarten is the best!
Wow. I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for having all these great resources up here. This is my first year teaching and the first day of school is less than 2 weeks away. Im so nervous I felt like the gates of heaven open while browsing through your page. thank you
Mrs. Springs,
That is so sweet of you to say. I don’t believe in paying, paying, paying. Teachers shared with me, so I am doing the same. I am so glad that you have found what you needed! Please update me on how your year is going. It will be exciting for sure!
I love your site. I just want to say many many thank you for many ideas I can collect from your site. I have increased the knowledge from this your site.
I love your website for all of the wonderful information you share.
I come from a developmental preschool background and am looking at possibly teaching a Developmental Kindergarten classroom filled with students who have autism and/or are very low functioning. For these students, “academics” are usually done within 2hrs of the day leaving the rest of the day to fill. I love the schedule that you have posted but would like to know what you had done with some of your very low functioning, non-independent (if you should have them) students to keep them occupied for the entire day?
Hi Bonnie,
I use workstations and centers to rotate students through. This works as long as there are 1-2 other adults or helpers in the classroom. Please check out my free special education lesson plans for an idea/suggestions of what I am talking about: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Green-Bean-Kindergarten-3433
